Yes, Force of Nature is on the EPA’s List N, the disinfectants approved for use against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19. Force of Nature has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses harder to kill than SARS-CoV-2 on hard, non-porous surfaces. You can use it to clean just about any surface – sealed stone including granite, marble & quartz, glass, wood, laminate, stainless steel, chrome, grout, tile, porcelain, plastic, rubber, vinyl, high-touch surfaces, colorfast rugs & more. On rugs, always test first for color fastness in an inconspicuous spot, let dry before proceeding and don’t use on fabrics labeled “only non-chlorine bleach”. Because Force of Nature has no whiteners like bleach or titanium, it won’t remove set in rust, hard water, or mold stains on porous surfaces.
It’s super easy to use. Fill up the Electrolyzer Appliance with tap water, plug it in, squeeze in one or 2 Activator Capsules, depending on whether you want to make 32 or 64 ounces, and push the corresponding Start button. Once the cycle is complete, pour it into the spray bottles and use like you would any other cleaner, deodorizer or disinfectant.
To Sanitize: Clean the surface, spray until thoroughly wet, wait one minute and then wipe the surface.
To Disinfect: clean the surface, spray until thoroughly wet, wait 10 minutes and then wipe the surface or let air dry naturally.
Glass & Stainless Steel: Force of Nature doesnʼt contain drying accelerants like ammonia or alcohol-based products. Spray then wipe with a clean dry cloth or paper towel until the surface is dry.
Soap Scum: Soap scum builds up in layers, so depending on build up and surface porosity, you may need a mild abrasive with a scrub brush the first couple of times to break down the layers.
Deodorizing: To stop odors, spray the source of the odor thoroughly and let air dry.
Grease & Oil: To cut heavy grease, saturate surface then wipe thoroughly with a clean dry cloth or paper towel. If you have a lot of grease, spray, then let sit two minutes before wiping.
Colorfast rugs or fabrics: Always first test in an inconspicuous spot to ensure the item is truly colorfast. As with any stain remover, the sooner you treat the stain the better. Don’t use on fabric that says “use non-chlorine bleach only”.
Soft Metals: If you’re using Force of Nature on brass or copper, either rinse with water or wipe until it’s thoroughly dry because it shouldn’t sit on soft metals over time.
Unlike diluted bleach solutions which may only be effective for 24 hours, Force of Nature maintains its germ-kill potency for 2 weeks. Because you can use it for all your cleaning, disinfecting & deodorizing needs (replacing disinfectants, sanitizers, all-purpose, bathroom and glass cleaners), you’ll find you use it up quickly. The light ring around the bottom of the Electrolyzer Appliance is color coded to let you know when it’s time to make a new batch.
Force of Nature has no added fragrances. It has a light, clean swimming pool scent that’s naturally created when salt, water & vinegar are electrolyzed.
Yes. With our Capsules & re-usable bottles, you reduce your plastic waste from typical cleaning products by 97%.
If you have hard water (> 100ppm), please use a water softener or reverse osmosis filtered water instead of tap water. This is because the minerals in hard water interfere with the chemistry and can shorten the life of your Force of Nature.
Due to the sensitive nature of the chemistry, the EPA requires the use of Pro Activator Capsules to ensure the right concentration of hypochlorous acid is created. Being off by even a hundredth of a gram can result in bleach, a solution that doesn’t meet EPA germ-kill standards, or a shorter shelf life.
After each cycle, fill the Electrolyzer Appliance with tap water, gently shake, then empty. Dry upside down. If your business is in a very humid environment, spray some Force of Nature into the rinsed bottle prior to turning it upside down to dry.

Each Pro Starter Kit contains one Pro Electrolyzer Appliance that makes 32 or 64 ounces of cleaner, power cord, three 32 oz Spray Bottles, 10 Pro Activator Capsules, Quick Start Guide and User Guide.
Each Starter Kit contains one Electrolyzer Appliance that makes 12 ounces of cleaner, power cord, one 12 oz Spray Bottle, 5 Activator Capsules, Quick Start Guide and User Guide.
Both allow you to make the same all-in-one multi-purpose cleaner, deodorizer and EPA registered disinfectant and sanitizer. The difference is the amount you can make and the size of the Activator Capsules.
Force of Nature Pro gives you the flexibility to make 32 or 64 ounces, whereas Force of Nature makes just 12 ounces. The Force of Nature Pro Electrolyzer Appliance uses 10 ml Pro Activator Capsules, and the smaller Force of Nature Electrolyzer Appliance uses 3 ml Activator Capsules.
Force of Nature makes 12oz in 9 minutes. Force of Nature PRO makes 32oz in 7 minutes (and 64oz in 14 minutes). In summary, Force of Nature PRO is BIGGER and FASTER than Force of Nature and uses bigger capsules.
If the light ring is red after you’ve made a batch, this means your cleaner has expired so you should make a new batch.
If the light ring is red while the cycle is running, the cycle did not properly complete. Unplug the power cord from the Pro Appliance, pour out your solution and re-fill with water to the desired Fill Line. Add the contents of one Pro Activator Capsule for Fill Line 1, or two Pro Activator Capsules for Fill Line 2. Re-plug the Pro Appliance in and press the desired Start Button.
